McCloud saw his role expand in his second NFL campaign, as he played in 14 games and totaled 43 tackles, 1.5 sacks and seven pass defenses. The Giants moved him over to safety during minicamp, and it appears that he'll stick there after playing cornerback in 2022. McCloud's reliability as a tackler could help him thrive at his new position, but it's uncertain how the pecking order there will shake out.
