Pollard didn't get enough credit for how much he toughed it out in 2024, his first season with the Titans. The Tennessee offense was predictably dysfunctional with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph at quarterback, yet Pollard quickly established himself as the guy that Tennessee turned to when everything else was going wrong, which happened often. Tennessee's dependence on Pollard probably resulted in overwork, as he suffered a foot injury Week 8 and then took 31 touches Week 9 despite not practicing beforehand. It was at once valiant on Pollard's part yet a reminder that he probably isn't built to withstand such massive burdens over a long span of time. His 2024 production ultimately was similar to what he did in 2023, his final year in Dallas, taking on far more volume compared to pre-2023, but with TDs and big plays accounting for a much smaller portion of his touches. The guts Pollard demonstrated probably earned him even more locker room respect, to the point that he may enter 2025 as a workhorse even though the Titans have a promising backup in Tyjae Spears. If free-agent additions Dan Moore (left tackle) and Kevin Zeitler (right guard) improve Tennessee's offensive line, Pollard will be well positioned to build on last year's already-successful Titans debut.
