Coming off back-to-back seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards and no missed games, Ridley otherwise saw his counting stats take a hit with the move from Jacksonville to Tennessee, losing four TDs, 12 catches and 16 targets from 2023 to 2024. He was both the deep threat and the lead target for a miserable Titans offense, recording a career-high 15.3 aDOT and career-low 53.3 percent catch rate. Ridley is now 30 years old and hasn't recaptured his best form since missing all of 2022 for a gambling suspension, but he was nonetheless one of the few bright spots for Tennessee last year after a rough start to the season, averaging 4.6 catches for 73.0 yards from Week 7 onward (with a 59.1 percent catch rate and 9.1 YPT). He's back for the second season of a four-year, $92 million contract, and still playing under coach Brian Callahan without much competition for playing time or targets. The Titans are counting on No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward to be the difference between 2024 and 2025 for an offense that otherwise added two veteran starters on the O-Line (LT Dan Moore, RG Kevin Zeitler) while settling for Van Jefferson and 32-year-old Tyler Lockett as "upgrades" at wide receiver. The combination of better blocking and minimal target competition is good news for Ridley's fantasy production, although Ward's success (or lack thereof) ultimately will matter more.
