Dike never had more than 47 catches or 783 receiving yards in a season during a five-year college career for Wisconsin and Florida, but the Titans saw enough potential to take him the first pick of the fourth round this spring, 103rd overall. His 4.34 40 time at the combine presumably was a big factor in that decision, although Dike's other workout numbers (38.5-inch vertical, 128-inch broad jump) were merely average for a thin wide receiver (6-foot-1, 196 pounds). It's a great situation for his chance to earn immediate playing time, as the Titans don't have clear starters at WR besides Calvin Ridley and didn't draft any before Dike (they did take Elic Ayomanor later in the fourth round). There's also potential for the team's passing game to take a big step forward under Cameron Ward, the No. 1 overall draft pick who threw for 39 TDs at Miami last year.
