Pitts has consistently disappointed since setting expectations sky-high with 1,026 receiving yards as a rookie after the Falcons drafted him fourth overall in 2021. He had just 356 yards over 10 games in his second season, followed by 667 in 2023 and 602 in 2024 while playing all 17 games both years. If you're looking for silver linings from his 2024 campaign, Pitts set a new career high with four touchdowns (having started with one as a rookie and tacking another on to his total each year), in addition to having his best YPT mark (8.1) since that impressive rookie season. Pitts will turn just 25 years old in October, but fantasy managers understandably are wary of buying in after being burned the last three years. What's more, Pitts' early returns with QB Michael Penix left a lot to be desired. In the three games the 2024 first-round pick started last season, Pitts caught just seven passes for 66 yards and one TD.
