London's third-year breakout came to fruition, but not because Kirk Cousins gave the Falcons strong QB play for the first time since Matt Ryan's prime. Instead, London stayed afloat with touchdowns and a lot of games in the range of 50-70 yards while Cousins struggled, with an increase in Atlanta's passing volume (relative to 2022-23) being much more pronounced than the improvement efficiency-wise. It was after Cousins' benching that London truly kicked into gear, catching 22 pases for 352 yards and two TDs from eighth overall pick Michael Penix over the final three games. An eighth overall pick himself, London is actually 14 months younger than Penix, having been one of the youngest players in the 2022 draft class and now entering his age-24 season. London has average speed and hasn't shown many signs of becoming a deep threat, but he has excellent hands (eight career drops) and knows how to use his huge frame to box out defenders or create favorable angles against zone defenses. It's a skill set that's unlikely to translate to top-five status at his position in real life, but it might allow for top-five production in PPR formats if he ends up in the right scheme with the right QB. The early returns on that were promising from Penix and Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, although the three-game sample from Penix at the end of last season didn't feature much success throwing to anyone besides London.
