Woods had a promising rookie season in 2022, catching 25 of 40 targets for 312 yards and three touchdowns, which was enough for at least a share of the team lead among tight ends in both categories. He didn't get a chance to build on that campaign last year, sitting out the entire 2023 season due to a hamstring injury. In Woods' absence, four Colts tight ends had between 147 and 368 receiving yards, and that group combined to score six touchdowns. All of those players are still around to compete for playing time in 2024, but Woods' 6-foot-7, 253-pound frame gives him the highest red-zone ceiling of the group, and he's reportedly healthy heading into training camp.
