It's been a turbulent three seasons for Hall and the Jets, but Hall has acquitted himself well given the circumstances throughout. Neither his 2022 ACL tear nor the team-wide collapses in 2023 and 2024 could've been prevented by Hall, who was one of the few bright spots on the roster. The previous Jets regime brought in two rookie RBs last year, fourth-round pick Braelon Allen and fifth-rounder Isaiah Davis, but the bigger problem for Hall was a lack of TD opportunities and overall team rushing volume (363 carries, 32nd). Now that Hall is more than two years removed from his ACL tear and playing under a new coaching staff, he has a chance to reestablish himself as one of the NFL's top running backs. The Jets will need to call a run-heavy offense with QB Justin Fields, whose presence should be good news for Hall's rushing volume and efficiency but bad news for his receiving workload. This is a talented player who has experienced only bad luck in the NFL, and his luck might improve soon.
