A 2023 seventh-round pick, Hellams was healthy at OTAs this spring after missing 2024 due to a devastating ankle injury. He made 15 appearances as a rookie, starting as a special teamer before carving out a regular defensive role late in the campaign. The Falcons signed Jordan Fuller this offseason to replace Justin Simmons, leaving Hellams to compete with rookie third-round pick Xavier Watts as the top reserve safety.
