Robinson heads into a contract year after starting the last three years for Washington, a span in which he averaged roughly 965 rushing yards per 17 games, at 4.1 yards per carry. That likely makes Robinson a below-average pure runner by starting-RB standards, but he's positioned for the starting role again in the final season of his rookie contract. Washington offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury called a run-heavy offense in 2024, and if he does so again in 2025, Robinson should stay fairly busy as the primary power runner. Robinson is at least competent, and he's better than most big backs as a pass catcher (81.3 percent career catch rate, 7.3 yards per target), so while Austin Ekeler figures to take most of Washington's backfield targets, there's reason to think Robinson could see a receiving boost if Ekeler were to miss time. The Washington offensive line acquired a substantial upgrade at left tackle (Laremy Tunsil) this offseason, along with a potential upgrade at right tackle (first-round pick Josh Conerly), likely giving Robinson the best blocking of his career.
