Robinson heads into a contract year after starting the last three years for Washington, a span in which he averaged roughly 965 rushing yards per 17 games, at 4.1 yards per carry. That likely makes Robinson a below-average pure runner by starting running back standards, but it will be interesting to see if he can tap into another gear with his next contract on the line. Washington called a run-heavy offense in 2024 and if they do again in 2025 then Robinson will likely be fairly busy as Washington's primary power runner. Robinson is at least average and might be above average as a pass catcher (81.3 percent career catch rate, 7.3 yards per target), so while Austin Ekeler takes most of Washington's backfield targets there's reason to think Robinson would claim most or all of those targets if Ekeler were to miss any time. The Washington offensive line acquired a substantial upgrade at left tackle (Laremy Tunsil) and a potential upgrade at right tackle (Josh Conerly), so Robinson should benefit from the best NFL offensive line he's had to this point.
