Hooper has posted at least 435 receiving yards in six of the last eight seasons, including his 476-yard campaign with the Patriots in 2024. After playing for five teams in a six-year stretch, Hooper will have some stability in 2025, returning to New England on a second consecutive one-year deal. Hunter Henry should continue to work as the top TE for the Patriots when healthy, but Henry has played in every game only twice in his nine-year career, and the 30-year-old Hooper's a reliable backup who has proven capable of stepping up when called upon to play a larger role. New England's 159 passes directed at TEs last season were fifth-most in the NFL, but second-year QB Drake Maye may look to push the ball downfield more to a beefed-up WR room headlined by free-agent signing Stefon Diggs.
