Charbonnet is likely overqualified as the RB2 in Seattle behind Kenneth Walker, and when the latter missed time in 2024 due to injury, the former demonstrated his value. Charbonnet was good enough as a spot starter in Walker's place to potentially make their workload split more even in 2025 than it was in 2023 or 2024 - years in which Walker got most of the touches and Charbonnet got little more than passing-down scraps. Walker is the more explosive runner, but Charbonnet's combination of passing-down skills and size (6-foot-1, 214 pounds) arguably makes him just as valuable. The Seahawks could very well give both RBs large workloads in 2025 under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, because new quarterback Sam Darnold struggles to deal with pressure and doesn't have great receiving weapons. In such a scenario, Charbonnet might provide FLEX utility even when Walker is healthy, in addition to the usual RB1 upside if Walker were to miss time. Charbonnet scored six touchdowns in his six starts last season, with 66 or more yards from scrimmage in each game.
