An undrafted back out of Iowa, Goodson made a small splash with an increased workload in his second NFL season. While he handled only 43 touches over 16 regular-season games, he averaged 4.8 yards per carry and scored his first two career touchdowns, with most of his production coming early in the year when Jonathan Taylor was sidelined. The Colts bolstered their backfield depth in the offseason, swapping Trey Sermon out for Khalil Herbert and selecting DJ Giddens in the fifth round of the draft, so Goodson will be hard-pressed to have a meaningful role again.
