Gadsden converted from wide receiver to tight end at Syracuse, demonstrating intriguing pass catching capabilities at both positions. After posting 975 receiving yards and six touchdowns as a wideout in 2022, he was similarly effective with 934 receiving yards and seven TDs as a TE in 2024. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Chargers, so Gadsden is likely to slot in behind Tyler Conklin and Will Dissly on the depth chart, at least initially. The 6-foot-5, 241-pound Gadsden will need to prove he can block at the NFL level to earn consistent playing time, but there's some long-term upside here given his skill set and situation.
