After bouncing around on practice squads for his first three seasons and playing just four NFL games, Jackson found home in Seattle and barely left the field in 2022, recording 75 tackles (63 solo), 12 pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and an interception. He was quite dependable in coverage on the outside opposite rookie Tariq Woolen. He was so reliable outside that the Seahawks utilized No. 5 pick Devon Witherspoon in the slot when they rolled out nickel packages during training camp. That means Jackson should get a fair amount of playing time this season, but if Witherspoon and Woolen are healthy, Jackson is expected to take a back seat.
