Travis' brother doesn't have the same kind of breakaway speed, but the younger Etienne showed good contact balance, soft hands as a receiver and pass protection skills in college. Selected in the fourth round of the 2025 Draft by the Panthers, he joins a crowded backfield that had already added Rice Dowdle in free agency to complement Chuba Hubbard, and which is still hoping to get something out of 2024 second-round pick Jonathon Brooks. Etienne's three-down versatility should help him win a roster spot, but he'll need injuries ahead of him to have a shot at a significant role.
