The Giants were active this offseason, adding to the defense in both the trenches and secondary. However, they largely left their linebacker corps alone due to the strong combination of McFadden and Bobby Okereke. McFadden has seen his defensive role progressively increase in each of his three pro seasons, which has been earned primarily due to his role as a run stuffer. A neck injury robbed him of the final two games in 2024 and is likely the major reason he's being overlooked as an IDP option as we enter 2025. Nevertheless, he enters training camp fully healthy after participating in offseason practices, and he also showcased some improved ability to get after the quarterback in 2024 - another reason to believe another step forward is on the way in 2025.
