The Texans will roll out one of the game's best cornerback duos in the NFL. The emergence of Lassiter, a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, during his rookie year along with the breakout season of Derek Stingley gives Houston elite defenders at every level. Lassiter, known by teammates as "The Locksmith," was a Week 1 starter and played 14 games while recording 58 tackles with 10 passes defensed and three interceptions. He also had a pick in the postseason. His 77.5 coverage grade ranked 11th among cornerbacks with at least 500 snaps on pass plays.
