A special-teams stalwart, Ogunbowale saw more work than usual on offense in the first half of the season as both Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce dealt with injuries. Ogunbowale wound up with a career-high 310 scrimmage yards, but his 3.7 yards per carry doesn't suggest he's deserving of a bigger role. His roster spot should be secure due to his versatility, but Houston did use a fourth-round pick on Woody Marks in the 2025 Draft, creating additional competition for depth jobs in the backfield.
