Kohou started nine of his 15 appearances with Miami last season, and the team's decision to tender him this offseason seems to hint at his being primed for a starting role at slot cornerback. While Kohou had career lows in terms of defensive snaps (671), total tackles (45) and passes defensed (eight) in 2024, he also did log a career-best two interceptions. The Dolphins' secondary is in dire need of playmakers, so Kohou will be given every chance to prove he can emerge.
