Not much has gone right for Wilson since he entered the league as the second overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. After three failed seasons with the Jets, in which he compiled a combined 23:25 TD:INT ratio, Wilson was traded to Denver and finally got his hands on a chance to develop on the bench in 2024. The Dolphins saw enough growth from Wilson during his time with the Broncos to prioritize pursuing him in free agency, positioning him as the presumptive backup to Tua Tagovailoa. Wilson boasts undeniable arm talent, so if he's managed to clean up his accuracy and decision-making issues, he'll offer Miami some upside behind Tua.
