The 6-foot-7, 248-pound Whyle is a better blocker than the 6-foot-3, 238-pound Chig Okonkwo, but Okonkwo is a better athlete who should continue to get the majority of pass catching opportunities in a Titans offense that added QB Cam Ward out of Miami with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and drafted TE Gunnar Helm in the fourth round. While Whyle's large frame could create mismatches by the goal line, the 2023 fifth-round draft pick has yet to demonstrate much scoring aptitude, with just 342 receiving yards and two touchdowns through 28 NFL games. Whyle scored only one of the six TDs among Tennessee's TEs in 2024, while Okonkwo had two and journeyman Nick Vannett tallied three.
