Henry showed a promising connection with Drake Maye during the 2024 third overall pick's rookie season. In 11 games together after Maye took over as the starter, Henry averaged 44.9 receiving yards on 6.5 targets. The 30-year-old tight end scored only two touchdowns, however, suffering from New England's poor overall play and lack of scoring opportunities. With the Patriots signaling a desire to be more competitive in 2025 based on a busy offseason that has included the addition of WR Stefon Diggs, Henry could benefit from some positive regression closer to his career average of five touchdowns per season. The downside is that Diggs may eclipse Henry as the team's go-to pass catcher, after the tight end led New England in targets (97) and receiving yards (674) last season, both of which were also career highs.
