Cade Stover 2025 Fantasy Outlook

Stover quietly saw his playing time tick up as his rookie season unfolded, and the 2024 fourth-round draft pick posted four catches for 28 yards in Houston's playoff win over the Chargers, which exceeded Stover's single-game highwater marks in both categories from the regular season. Dalton Schultz sits atop the depth chart heading into 2025, but Stover could make a push to unseat Schultz as the team's primary TE after Schultz disappointed with only 532 receiving yards and two TDs in 2024. Brevin Jordan could also compete for snaps once he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in Week 2, and Stover's working his way back from a serious injury of his own - a fractured collarbone suffered in the aforementioned playoff game against the Chargers.
