Okereke missed the final five games of the 2024 season due to a herniated disc in his back, though it was a certainty that he would have tallied at least 100 tackles for the fourth straight year had he remained healthy. He's in an equally strong position entering 2025, as he's set to pair with Micah McFadden in the middle of the Giants' linebacker corps. McFadden's struggles in coverage are important for Okereke, making the latter a near-lock for every down work and providing him with additional opportunity to rack up tackles. Okereke's own work in coverage and as a pass rusher has been inconsistent, but he remains a strong run stuffer with an undeniable role and ability to rack up stops. Expect another strong year in 2025.
