WR Tetairoa McMillan ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at Arizona’s pro day, per @Schultz_Report. A 6’4 219-pound receiver moving like that is insane… Should he be the #Patriots’ first-round pick?
The #Patriots’ asking price for QB Joe Milton has been a third-round pick, @TonyGrossi. Grossi mentions that there is no evidence of Cleveland and New England currently being in trade talks, but says sources closer to the situation say that is the asking price.
Say hello to the (soon to be) highest paid defensive back in NFL history.
Daniel Ekuale is signing with the Steelers. He started 16 games for the Patriots last season next to Davon Godchaux
Start of a new week! What move do you want to see the Patriots make in the coming days?
.@EAMaddenNFL, take my money. (via coreyjrskdesign IG)
Travis Hunter wants to play with Drake Maye. Tet McMillan wants to play with Drake Maye. You know what to do, @Patriots.
Which day of the draft would you like to see the Patriots draft a running back?
The #Patriots met “at length” with RB Jo'quavious ‘Woody’ Marks at USC’s pro day, per @TonyPauline. Pauline says Marks did some whiteboard work with New England’s personnel scouts as well. The 5’10 207-pound back is an exceptional pass-catcher with 261(!) career receptions.
Free agent LB Jack Gibbens is “considering” taking a visit to the #Patriots’ facility this week, per @MikeReiss. The 6’3 242-pound linebacker was signed by Mike Vrabel as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and has since had a productive career in Tennessee. A potential reunion?
It “wouldn’t be a surprise” if the #Patriots sign #Vikings C Garrett Bradbury if he is released, per @MikeReiss. Minnesota recently signed Ryan Kelly to replace Bradbury, a former 1st-round pick. The veteran could potentially step right into New England’s starting center role.
The #Patriots met with RB Dylan Sampson at Tennessee’s pro day, per @TonyPauline. The 5’8 200-pound back ran a 4.35s 40-yard dash and has incredibly quick footwork. Sampson was a leader for the Volunteers and was often in the center of pregame huddles.
Always interested to hear the argument for either Travis Hunter or Tet McMillan ⬇️
Although I am a huge fan of the #Patriots’ recent acquisitions, there is one thing that worries me about their free agency class. The average age of their signees by the start of the season will be 29.27. Yes, New England got some quality players, but for how long exactly?
What position should the Patriots select in the first round?
DeMario Douglas could be the biggest beneficiary of New England’s inability to obtain a true #1 wide receiver 👀
Which of the Patriots offseason additions has been your favorite?
I’d expect the #Patriots to make an addition at kicker between now and the draft. John Parker Romo is the only kicker on roster and there are good options available. Eddy Pineiro should be at the top of their list due to his age (29) and career field goal percentage (88.1%).
The fact that LTs Cam Robinson and Jedrick Wills are still unsigned is concerning — Doug Marrone and Mike Vrabel may not have enjoyed coaching them. However, signing either one to an incentive-heavy deal and putting them in a room with #Patriots RT Morgan Moses could do wonders.
#Patriots WR Mack Hollins on his hard-nose leadership style: “I will push guys to their limits for sure. But, I’ve learned over the years how to not push them too far… [But] there are some guys that need that.” The perfect culture guy for New England’s young receiver room.
