Meyers had per-target numbers right around his career averages last season, despite getting a career-high 129 targets while playing with bad quarterbacks in one of the league's worst offenses. A pair of missed games didn't stop him from reaching 1,000 yards for the first time, with 68.5 yards per game crushing his previous career high of 57.4 (2022). It's tempting to assume Meyers will fare even better after the Raiders traded for QB Geno Smith and did nothing to add target competition in free agency. The problem with that assumption is that Meyers' per-route production in 2024 was right around his established norms. The boost in counting stats was a product of rarely leaving the field -- 91.5 percent snap share in his active games -- in an offense that attempted the fourth most passes. Now playing under HC Pete Carroll and OC Chip Kelly while sharing the field with rookie running back Ashton Jeanty, there's not much chance of Meyers approaching last year's per-game route volume. There's also not much chance of drawing more targets than star tight end Brock Bowers, although competition for Smith's attention otherwise looks weak, with Meyers joined at WR by Tre Tucker and second-round rookie Jack Bech.
