In what essentially was a trade of edge rushers, Hunter, a former Viking, signed with the Texans hours after Jonathan Greenard left Houston for Minnesota. Hunter has Pro Bowl pedigree and racked up career highs in sacks (16.5) and tackles (83) in his eighth and final year with Minnesota. He'll turn 30 this season and has a lot of miles, which is likely the reason the Vikings were so willing to let him walk, but Hunter has not shown any drop-off and produced five seasons of double-digit sacks. He enters an ideal situation, book-ending a line that has the talented Will Anderson on the other end.
