Lockett is part of the welcoming party for No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, joining the Titans on a one-year, $4 million contract after a 10-year stint with the Seahawks. The final two campaigns of that stint saw big drop-offs in production, with Lockett posting a 79-894-5 receiving line in 2023 and just 49-600-2 in 2024, following a five-year stretch from 2018 to 2022 with at least 965 receiving yards and eight TDs each year. He'll turn 33 in September and isn't likely to come anywhere near his peak level of production, but Lockett at least has a good chance to earn steady playing time in an offense with minimal pass-catching talent beyond WR Calvin Ridley. The other main candidates to start at wide receiver are journeyman Van Jefferson, fourth-round rookie Chimere Dike and fifth-round rookie Elic Ayomanor, which means it won't be surprising if Lockett secures the No. 2/3 role and a handful of targets per game.
