After jumping up to a career-high 11.0 sacks in 2022, Sweat fell back to 6.5 last season, which is in line with his totals from 2020 (6.0) and 2021 (7.5). The drop in production is disappointing considering that it came as Sweat saw a big jump in his snap share, going from 56 to 71 percent of defensive plays. He also had a slight decrease in tackles, going from 48 to 43. Sweat should remain an important part of the Eagles' pass rush this season, but his drop in output could lead to a return to the smaller role he had for most of his career.
