Verse, a first-round pick (something the Rams haven't used since 2016), was a dominant force at linebacker last season, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year with 66 tackles, including 4.5 sacks, two pass defenses, a pair of forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries while playing in all 17 games. Alongside Byron Young, the duo look to be anchors for a talented and young Rams' front seven along with DTs Braden Fiske and Kobie Turner. With third-round rookie Josaiah Stewart in the wings as a backup, Verse seems set up nicely for an outstanding sophomore campaign.
