The grass isn't always greener, but it certainly was for Cashman during his first year in Minnesota. After being stuck in a special team or rotational role in Houston, he played a career-high 850 defensive snaps in 2024 and displayed strong ability as a run defender pass rusher. Per PFF, Cashman had a missed tackle rate below 10 percent for the second consecutive season, and he generated 31 total pressures on only 174 pass-rushing snaps. The Vikings made a few acquisitions to bolster its linebacker corps this offseason, but Cashman's role should be safe in 2025 and he should be a safe bet for 100 stops and a handful of sacks assuming he can stay healthy.
