The Dolphins have one of the more unproven and potentially weakest secondaries in the league. Nevertheless, Davis currently projects to be one of the key members of the unit after joining the team on a modest one year, $2.5 million contract. He has played under 400 defensive snaps in four of his five NFL seasons, but he has still shown strong playmaking ability with eight career interceptions and four forced fumbles. Davis is hardly secure in his projected expanded role, but the Dolphins lack quality depth at safety, making him a breakout candidate based on his projected increased role.
