Mike Vrabel on #Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson:
“It’s easy to look at the guy with the ball and that has to be where it starts… But, it’s also gotta be put on everybody else to make sure they’re protecting the guy with the ball… It goes on all of us.”

#Patriots WR Stefon Diggs on WRs Kyle Williams and Efton Chism:
“I didn’t play the first 3 games of my [rookie] season… You never know when your next opportunity is… Those guys are hungry and they work their ass off, so I understand, but you gotta eat what’s on your plate.”
In its first investment under the 2024 NFL private equity policy, Sixth Street will acquire 3% of the New England Patriots, per Sports Business Journal.
This is part of Kraft’s plan to divest 8% of the franchise, now valued at over $9B. Approval expected Oct. 21-22.
The #Patriots will be wearing their all blue uniforms for their Week 4 matchup against the Panthers.
New England has been wearing silver pants to begin the season, but it looks like they will be switching it up for at least a week.

Patriots Wednesday injury report:
#Patriots line order in RB drills at Wednesday’s practice:
1. TreVeyon Henderson
2. Antonio Gibson
3. Rhamondre Stevenson
Stevenson (x2) and Gibson (x1) each fumbled this past Sunday, so the rookie may be getting a bigger workload.

#Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez on if he wanted to play Week 3:
“Of course. I never don’t want to play. That narrative that’s out there, I don’t know where it’s coming from. All I want to do is play football.”
Gonzalez says he is excited for Week 4.

The #Patriots have a locker set up for TE Gee Scott Jr. which is a good indication that they are signing him to the practice squad, per @MikeReiss.
Scott, an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State, spent the offseason with New England before being waived.
The plan is for #Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez to “ramp up” his practice reps this week in hopes of being active Sunday, per HC Mike Vrabel.
Vrabel says he appreciates Gonzalez’s effort last week and that he chose to sit him out and protect him Week 3.
