Gonzalez has been making “good progress” while recovering from his hamstring injury and he was even “close” to playing in Week 3.

The #Patriots have a locker set up for TE Gee Scott Jr. which is a good indication that they are signing him to the practice squad, per @MikeReiss.
Scott, an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State, spent the offseason with New England before being waived.
