A 2021 second-round pick, Grant has started and recorded at least 100 tackles in back-to-back seasons, totaling three picks and three forced fumbles in that span. He recorded the first three sacks of his career in 2023, but despite displaying playmaking skills, Grant lost snaps to DeMarco Hellams over the final weeks of the campaign as Atlanta's defense struggled. Hellams is expected to miss the beginning of 2024 due to an ankle injury, but the Falcons shored up their safety depth by signing Justin Simmons, who's expected to start next to Jessie Bates, leaving Grant as the top backup.
