Aldama turned some heads during the 2023-24 season, putting up career-high numbers in multiple categories. He finished as the 162nd-ranked player, averaging 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.6 combined steals and blocks in 26.5 minutes per game. While this was an encouraging campaign, fantasy managers should keep in mind the Grizzlies were without a number of their key players for sizeable chunks of the season. Aldama's 2022-23 season is a better indication of what to expect from him moving forward, making him a borderline top-200 player. Based on that fact alone, Aldama is not worth drafting outside of very deep formats. Should Memphis once again be plagued with injuries, Aldama would be someone to consider as a short-term pickup.
