<#Patriots> - <#Vikings> Joint Practice Notes [Full Pads] (8/13):
𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲
• WR Stefon Diggs was consistently findings space in short zones during 7-on-7s for easy completions — Diggs was also very reliable extending drives a few times during 11s.
• QB Drake Maye had a day filled with more good than bad — Maye was ripping it in 11-on-11s and made some impressive throws for huge gains or TDs but he also had some near interceptions.
• RB TreVeyon Henderson had the first 2 catches of 11-on-11s with QB Drake Maye constantly looking for him — Maye later found Henderson on a wheel route for a 70 yard TD.
• WR Kayshon Boutte got behind two defenders and QB Drake Maye rolled out right and found him for a 30 yard TD during 11s.
• WR DeMario Douglas cooked CB Byron Murphy on a sail and QB Drake Maye found him for a big gain — Douglas found space over the middle of the field multiple times but had one fumble during team drills.
• WR Javon Baker got open a go ball and hauled in the pass from QB Josh Dobbs for a TD in 7s — Baker immediately began taking reps with starters afterward.
• QB Josh Dobbs had an extremely rough day throwing 2 pick-six’s during team drills.
• WR Efton Chism was consistently getting open or drawing DPIs — Chism got some first team reps with QB Drake Maye targeting but missing him on a flea flicker for a would-be TD.
• WR Mack Hollins got open on busted coverage and took it in for a 50-yard touchdown before punting the ball into the crowd and drawing a flag.
• WR Kyle Williams was getting open and being targeted but he and QB Drake Maye failed to connect multiple times.
• WRs dominated 1-on-1s with Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas creating the most separation of the bunch.

• LT Will Campbell split reps with DE Jonathan Greenard in 1-on-1s (1-1) and LG Jared Wilson dominated his reps against DT Javon Hargrave (2-0).
• The right side of the offensive held up well for the most part — the LT Will Campbell and LG Jared Wilson passed off a stunt at one point that looked very clean.
• The offensive line allowed 6 sacks and struggled against Minnesota’s pass rush all day — there were multiple holding penalties on run plays specifically.
• LG Jared Wilson and LT Will Campbell each allowed 1 sack during 11s.
• C Garrett Bradbury says it was a day with some good and some bad, but when the offensive line “blocked it up” there were some home runs.

• OLBs K’Lavon Chaisson, Harold Landry and Keon White, and DT Milton Williams were wreaking havoc during 11-on-11s.
• S Kyle Dugger got flagged for a pass interference as he repped with the second-team in 11s.
• DTs Milton Williams, Jeremiah Pharms, Isiaiah Iton each had a sack during 11s — OLBs K'Lavon Chaisson, Keion White, Harold Landry, Anfernee Jennings also had sacks during 11s.
• LB Christian Elliss, DT Khyiris Tonga, and OLBs Harold Landry and Anfernee Jennings each had run stuffs.
• CB Marcus Jones hauled in a badly thrown ball by QB JJ McCarthy for the interception.
• CBs Carlton Davis and Marcus Jones allowed a few catches in the middle of the field during 11s.
• New England DBs held up nicely during 1-on-1s seemingly winning more reps than the Minnesota WRs.
