Watkins spent the first four seasons of his career in Philadelphia but saw his role decline over the past two seasons. He appeared in just nine games last year and secured 15 of 21 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown, the lowest marks since his rookie season. He joins a Steelers squad ahead of the 2024 season that has a new-look receiving corps after losing Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson and Miles Boykin during the offseason. Watkins could carve out some playing time with his new team, but there are still several receivers who could be ahead of him in the pecking order, including George Pickens and rookie third-rounder Roman Wilson, and Watkins could struggle to have a fantasy-relevant role.
