Hamler joined the Bills on a reserve/future contract in January after spending three years with the Broncos. Injuries and health concerns were an issue for the receiver. After playing 13 games as a rookie, Hamler played in 10 of 34 possible games the past two seasons. In 2020, Hamler caught 30 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns with five receptions of over 20 yards. The receiver was showing the ability to win downfield when he began his career. It will be difficult for Hamler to crack the top-four on the Buffalo wide receiver depth chart. That said, if the veteran is able to get on the field with some regularity, Josh Allen certainly has the ability to unlock Hamler's downfield ability.
