Jewell is a story of both good and bad news. His first year in Carolina didn't go according to plan, as his missed tackle rate spiked to 11.7 percent (per PFF) while his yards per reception allowed jumped to a career-worst mark of 11.4. Not all is lost, however, as Carolina invested in Tershawn Wharton and will get Derrick Brown (knee) back healthy, which should free Jewell up to roam around more freely. Jewell's track record suggests a bounce back, but there are reasons for concern based on what we saw in 2024.
