I don’t really feel confident picking one way or another in this Texans game but I’m going to assume they can pull this game out in a must win situation.
This is a much improved Jaguars team however and won’t be an easy game for a Texans team that has not looked good.

The Texans would be dumb to not consider moving off some of their guys at the deadline if we get there and this team hasn’t figured it out (they won’t).

Not a shortage of missed opportunities whether misses from Stroud or bad routes/miscommunications.
I still do not understand why Christian Kirk faded this route inside when he had all the room in the world to the outside.
Stroud throws the football away from the safety but since Kirk came in towards the hash it’s incomplete.
Huge missed opportunity here
The NFL has removed Jimmie Ward from the commissioner exempt list via @jonmalexander.
Ward is still on PUP/Injured Reserve but could come off after next week.

Looking back on that Texans 2024 offseason and that’s really where the cracks started to show in team-building for Nick Caserio.
- A really poor draft outside of Kamari.
- 2nd for Diggs.
- Extended Schultz to top 12 TE money.
- Extending Joe Mixon
- Denico Autry contract
Nico Collins extension is really the one gem from this offseason to me with Hunter/Azeez being good but replacing other good players with pretty marginal upgrades/needle moving.
