C.J. Stroud has targeted the short area of the field (0-9 air yards) at the 3rd highest rate this season (56.9%).
Justin Watson has aligned in the slot on a team-high 37/52 snaps (71.2%) where now Christian Kirk should slide into.
Don’t sleep on the impact Kirk can have on this offense.

C.J. Stroud on talking about what he can improve on:
“My process has really been good lately, I see the field well putting the ball where it’s supposed to be with the coverages”
He mentions the difficulties of throwing to WRs he has never really thrown to & still wanting to improve as more of a coach on the field.
Texans HC Demeco Ryans says the offense is “much better” than last year and the OL has done a “really good job” so far this year.
The Texans are bottom 5 in PBLK Grade & EPA/Play so far.

The Texans have signed TE Brenden Bates to their 53 man roster via @jonmalexander.
Bates played for the Browns this preseason and had a 80.3 PBLK Grade + 58.8 RBLK Grade.
Justin Watson is a potential IR candidate according to @AaronWilson_NFL for this roster spot.
The Texans are adding former University of Houston DB Ajani Carter to their practice squad via @AaronWilson_NFL.
Carter played for the Chiefs this preseason with a 55.6 COV Grade.
