One Texans thing I’ve harped on all season is between Weeks 1-5 when the WRs were healthy the Texans pass offense thrived despite the sacks.
Stroud was 8th in PFF Offensive Grade with 7.8 YPA & 7-3 TD/INT ratio despite the pressure problems because they had separation at the WR spots & Stroud looked comfortable.
If you can tap into that as Nick Caley while improving OL play that unit is plenty good enough to win 12+ games and be a serious contender

Stroud hit Nico/Brevin on down the field throws that both weren’t able to come down with unfortunately but I like to hear they were getting open.

I think the expectations for the Texans offense need to be around the middle of the pack which I think most people have but if you are hoping for more than that you will likely be disappointed.
This team was 21st in EPA/Play & 31st in SR offensively and won 10 games so if they can get closer to that 15th range (that’s where they were in 2023) in both there is a very real path to be a top tier football team.
