Steelers will host the Vikings in Ireland on September 28th, a source tells Pittsburgh sports radio host Andrew Fillipponi.

“Week 1 could be, I wouldn’t call it a soft landing spot. It might be a thrown right into the iron of the fire. All I’m gonna say is, it would be interesting to see an NFC North matchup in primetime in week 1… if it goes the way it sounds like it can go from the beginning, it’s gonna be a good time.”

It’s been two and a half years and I still can’t believe a single part of this game was real.
Kevin O’Connell shares that QB Max Brosmer was actually allowed to participate in pro-days for two consecutive years. Brosmer was allowed to throw to Gophers’ receivers at the event in 2024.
The more I think about it, back to back games overseas might not be that bad. May very well turn two “away” games into a crowd of mostly purple.
