On Oct.
13, 1989, the Minnesota Vikings had an historic trade where they dealt with four players and a series of eight draft picks, including three first- and second-rounders, to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for four draft picks and the then Pro Bowl running back Herschel Walker, who had previously rushed for 1,514 yards for Dallas.
After a disappointing three seasons, Walker left the Vikings and would play for an additional six seasons with other teams before winding up back with the Cowboys, whereas Dallas used the picks acquired from Minnesota to build a team that won three Super Bowls in the 1990s.

As of 3pm CST today, any free agency signings announced by the Vikings will NOT count towards the comp pick formula.
New Vikings Punter Oscar Chapman was a promising rugby player in Australia before coming to the US. He gained attention from Auburn through Prokick Australia, which has produced 8 Ray Guy award winners and 85 All Americans.
I think it’s a matter of time before we see Kwesi get his extension
The more I watch of Tai Felton the more excited I am to see him in KOC’s offense.
Now that the draft is over, what available free agents would you like to see the Vikings add on to complete the roster upgrade?
Vikings Draft:
OT: Donovan Jackson
WR: Tai Felton
DT: Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
LB: Kobe King
TE: Gavin Bartholomew
Would’ve liked to see some DB action this year like Malaki Starks but I’m happy. What do you think?
