Chargers EDGE Khalil Mack praised Caleb Murphy’s early-season impact, calling him “impressive, impressive man” and noting that “he’s showing up in a major way.” Mack said he’s proud of Murphy’s performance and wants to “see more of it,” urging him to “stay consistent, not get too high, not get too low, keep his foot on the gas pedal, and keep dominating.”
Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter said when evaluating CB Eric Rogers, he “just saw a good, savvy, heady player that was well coached at Rutgers, that played a lot of football. Covered good receivers in college, that’s got good size, length that you like on the outside.”
Minter added, “His game has translated well for him the first two games.”
