Mike Tyson fulfilled a promise to Muhammad Ali by defeating Larry Holmes, who had previously bested Ali.
In a 1988 match at the Convention Hall in Atlantic City, Tyson's dynamite right hand knocked Holmes unconscious, living up to a vow Tyson made to retaliate on behalf of his idol, Ali.
George Foreman, another former opponent of Ali, expressed interest in fighting Tyson, claiming he could easily defeat him, though Tyson allegedly avoided a confrontation.
