2006 #1 overall pick and 2022 Stanley Cup champion defenseman Erik Johnson has announced his retirement from the NHL.
Johnson, 37, skated in 1,023 games for the Blues, Avalanche, Sabres and Flyers, and also represented the U.S. at the Olympics, World Championship, and World Cup.
The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed Jackson LaCombe to an 8-year, $9 million AAV contract extension.
