If we had a nickel for every time the Hurricanes and Capitals played on the same day as the conclave, we’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Joel Quenneville has officially been named head coach of the Anaheim Ducks.
Quenneville has not coached since 2021 after being banned for mishandling of sexual assault allegations by former Blackhawks player Kyle Beach against the team’s video coach in 2010.
